Lynn, Mass. – The Framingham State University baseball team received six RBI from senior Manny Powers (Malden, Mass.) as the Rams defeated Fisher College 9-7 this afternoon in non-conference action at Fraser Field.
With the win, the Rams even their season mark at 13-13.
Powers paced the Rams at the plate going 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and two homeruns while driving in six and scoring three runs. Sophomore Jordan Pallazola (Rockport, Mass.) went 2-for-5 with a homerun, two RBI and a double. Senior Ryan Wardwell (Hudson, Mass.) also recorded a pair of hits and scored two runs.
Sophomore Alex Erwin started on the hill for the Rams and went five innings allowing two earned runs on nine hits with four walks and two strikeouts.
The Rams are back in action on Monday afternoon when they entertain Worcester State for a pair of MASCAC games at Bowditch Field beginning at 1 p.m.
