Bio

Brendan Carter is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Framingham State University men’s basketball program.  Carter joined the Rams coaching staff after concluding his career as a Ram in 2011.

Carter was a two time captain of the Rams and was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior.  During his career the Rams appeared in the conference tournament four times and made a pair of appearances in the ECAC Division III New England Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament.  During Carter’s junior campaign the Rams experienced one of their most successful seasons to date as they went 9-3 in the MASCAC and advanced to the Conference Tournament Finals where they fell in overtime. 

Carter played four years of high school basketball at Boston College High School and is a licensed IAABO official.  Carter graduated from Framingham State with a degree in Communication Arts and is the founder of a basketball enrichment program called "Rise Above Basketball" that focuses on player development through camps, clinics and personal training.
