Softball Sixth Seed in MASCAC Tournament
Buzzards Bay, Mass. – The Framingham State University softball team has earned the sixth seed as Bridgewater State University takes the top seed in the 2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Championships, which begin with single elimination first round play on Thursday, May 2nd and continue in a double elimination format from Friday, May 3rd through Sunday, May 5th, as this year’s tournament field has expanded from four to six teams.

Softball Ends Season with Loss in Opening Round of MASCAC Tournament
Worcester, Mass. – The sixth Framingham State University softball team was eliminated from the 2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Championship Tournament with a 7-2 loss against third seed Worcester State this afternoon at Rockwood Park.

Agostini Earns All-MASCAC Second Team Honors
Buzzards Bay, Mass. – Framingham State University sophomore outfielder Tiffany Agostini (Rehoboth, Mass.) has been named second team All-MASCAC in voting conducted by the conference’s eight coaches and announced by the MASCAC this morning.
