Baseball Falls to Bridgewater State in Seven Innings

Bridgewater, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team was defeated 23-3 in seven innings by Bridgewater State this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Alumni Park.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Bears built a 5-0 lead after scoring one run in the first and four in the second. 

• The Rams got on the board in the top of the third with three runs.  Christian Cox singled in a pair of runs and Nicholas Kutcher added an RBI basehit. 

• The Bears tallied a single run in the bottom of the third and plated 12 in the fourth to put the game out of reach. 

• Charlie Ambroult took the loss on the mound, going three innings, allowing nine runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts. 

• Johnny Lynch went 2-for-3 in the game, while Cox and Kutcher each finished 1-for-3.
