Baseball Falls 6-2 at Mass. Maritime

Buzzards Bay, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team was defeated 6-2 this afternoon by Mass. Maritime in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference action at Com. Hendy Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• After five scoreless innings, the Rams got on the board first in the top of the sixth.  Rosco Palmer plated both runs on a home run to right center. 

• The Bucs took the lead for good in the bottom of the inning when they scored four times. The Bucs added a pair of runs in the seventh to reach the final margin. 

• Shaun Marsh started on the mound for the Rams and 5.2 innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on six hits with three strikeouts. 

• Ben Respress closed the game tossing two innings of scoreless relief, allowing just one hit with four strikeouts. 

• Palmer finished the game 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored, while Christian Cox, Nicholas Kutcher and Zachary Kern recorded two hits apiece.
