Dean Outlasts Baseball 21-18

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team belted 24 hits and scored 18 runs but it was not enough as the Rams were defeated 21-18 by Dean College in non-conference action at Bowditch Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams fell behind early but battled back claiming an 11-10 lead after scoring seven runs in the fourth inning, but the Bulldogs tallied nine runs in the top of the fifth taking the lead for good in a game that saw a combined 39 runs scored on a combined 50 hits. 

• Jakob Lindkvist went 3-for-6 at the plate with two doubles, a home run, three runs scored and five RBI, while Johnny Lynch finished the game 3-for-6 with four runs scored and four RBI. 

• Nicholas Kutcher went 4-for-6 in the game with two runs scored and an RBI, while Christian Cox and Camdon Bradford recorded three hits apiece. Bradford drove in three and scored three times.  

• Jacob Delvalle started on the mound for the Rams allowing seven runs in an inning of work and did not factor in the decision. 

• Samuel Conrad took the loss on the mound allowing four earned runs in relief. Keith Ramsey tossed an inning of scoreless relief, while Jacob Ferreira tossed 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.
