Baseball Falls 6-2 at Salem State

Salem, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team were defeated 6-1 this afternoon by Salem State in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Central Campus Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Vikings built a 5-0 lead through four innings and extended the lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the eighth. 

• The Rams plated two runs in the top of the ninth on an RBI groundout from Roscoe Palmer and a solo home run from Jakob Lindkvist.  

• Massimo Mondi finished the game 2-for-4, while Lindkvist went 1-for-4 with a run scored and RBI. 

• Charlie Ambroult took the loss on the mound going 5.2 innings, allowing five runs, four earned, on seven hits with two walks and a strikeout.
