Goffredo and Farley Earn MASCAC Football Weekly Honors
Framingham, Mass. – Junior quarterback Nicolas Goffredo (Hyde Park, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week and freshman kicker Matthew Farley (Middleboro, Mass.) has been named the Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending September 19th.
Goffredo, who was making his first start at quarterback for the Rams, earns his first weekly honors after collecting 248 yards of total offense with three touchdowns in the Rams 45-21 win over UMass Dartmouth. Goffredo threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 82 yards including a 22-yard touchdown run.
Farley connected on a 23 yard field goal in the Rams win and also went a perfect six-for-six on extra points en route to his first weekly honors.
