Eastern Connecticut Tops Field Hockey Falls 5-2

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State field hockey team faced off against Eastern Connecticut State on Thursday evening at Maple Street Field. Despite a strong start, the Rams fell to the Warriors with a final score of 5-2.

• The Rams took an early lead with a goal by Finley Hogan, assisted by Natalia Roehr, just 43 seconds into the game. 

• Eastern Connecticut State quickly responded with a goal by Jenna Boardman at 3:15, assisted by Emma Sanson. 

• The Warriors dominated the second quarter with three goals: Emma Sanson scored twice, and Jenna Boardman added another, assisted by Ada Ellis. 

• Audrey Molin extended the lead for Eastern Connecticut State in the third quarter with a goal assisted by Grace Barlage. 

• Framingham State's Allison Wurms scored the final goal of the game at 57:25, assisted by Allison Harmuth.
