Field Hockey Gets Back in Win Column with 2-1 Win Over Anna Maria

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State field hockey team triumphed over Anna Maria with a 2-1 victory in MASCAC action on October 7, 2025, at Maple St. Field.

• Records: Framingham State (2-9, 1-5 MASCAC), Anna Maria (1-10, 0-6 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Framingham State came out strong in the first quarter, with Natalia Roehr scoring the opening goal unassisted at the 7:01 mark. 

• Just under two minutes later, Marina Cadena doubled the lead with another unassisted goal at 9:00. 

• Anna Maria's Alyse Mutti managed to pull one back in the second quarter with an unassisted goal at 25:41, but that was all the scoring for the game. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

• Framingham State outshot Anna Maria 23-14, with 17 of those shots on goal. 

• The Rams' goalkeeper, Kaitlyn Tello, made 9 saves, while Anna Maria's Julianna Stanger recorded 15 saves.
