Men’s Basketball Falls to VT State-Randolph in Double Overtime

Randolph Center, VT. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team dropped a double overtime thriller this afternoon 75-70 to host Vermont State-Randolph at the Vermont State University Basketball Tournament.

-Scores:  VT State – Randolph 75, Framingham State 70 (2 OT) 

-Records: Framingham State (1-1), Vermont State Randolph (2-3)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by the duo of Dyree Rogers and Joshua Saint Jean as each tallied 21 points in the game. 

  • Saint Jean recorded a double double as he grabbed team-best 12 boards while adding a steal. Saint Jean connected on 5-of-9 from the floor and went 11-19 from the line. 

  • Rogers connected on 8-of-17 from the field and just missed a double double as he grabbed nine boards with two steals in the game. 

  • Kyle Philistin finished the game with 10 points despite struggling from the floor shooting just 3-of-15, but he added eight boards and a steal. 

  • Makyle Hayes finished the game with seven points, seven boards and six assists, while Adonis Vashon added six points off the bench.
