Westfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team used a strong second half to mount a comeback, but Westfield State was able to hold on for an 80-77 victory over the Rams in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Woodward Center.

The Rams were led by 21 points apiece from JD Okafor and Adonis Vashon. Okafor connected on 7-of-11 from the floor and narrowly missed a double double as he grabbed nine boards including four on the offensive glass. Vashon recorded a double double as he tallied 10 boards with three assists and a steal.

Joshua Saint Jean added a double double of his own as he tallied 19 points on 6-of-9 from the floor and added a team-best 12 rebounds to go along with a pair of assists.

Kyle Philistin was the final Ram to record double figures as he scored 11 points and added four rebounds and four assists.
