Men's Ice Hockey Chosen to Ninth in 2024-25 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's ice hockey team has been slated to finish ninth in the 2024-25 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Ice Hockey Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's coaches. 

The Rams landed in the nineth spot with 17 total points.  Returning for the Rams this season is Ashton Collazo who tallied seven goals and nine assists last season, while teammate Brady Rossbach is also returning as he also tallied 16 points a year ago on 11 goals and five helpers. 

Plymouth State claimed the top spot in the poll with 81 points and nine of the ten first place votes, while Fitchburg State was slated second with 76 points. In third with the remaining first place vote and 64 points was conference newcomer Anna Maria College, while UMass Dartmouth was slated fourth with 55 points.  Westfield State and conference newcomer Rivier landed in fifth and sixth with 49 and 38 points. Rounding out the poll in seventh was Worcester State (29), eighth Salem State (27) and in tenth MCLA (14). 

The Rams open the season on November 2nd with a non-conference game at home on November 2nd when they host Southern New Hampshire at 7:40 p.m.
