Men's Ice Hockey Falls to Anna Maria 3-1 in Regular Season Finale
AUBURN, MASS. – The Framingham State men's hockey team closed out its regular season Saturday evening with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Anna Maria. The Rams were outshot 38-25 and could not overcome two Anna Maria power-play goals in a game that saw the Amcats control the pace for much of the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Anna Maria struck first on a power play at 14:13 of the first period when Dylan McElhinny scored his fourth goal of the season, assisted by Brandon Della-Paolera and Pearce Baker, while Framingham State's Jake Barcelou was serving a holding penalty.
- The Rams answered quickly — just seconds later at 18:06 — when Scott Bugarin buried his 12th goal of the season on an even-strength tally, assisted by Barcelou, to tie the game 1-1 heading into the first intermission.
- Anna Maria reclaimed the lead for good at 10:16 of the second period. Max Wennerberg potted the game-winning goal on a power play (his seventh of the year), assisted by Owen Barrow, while Nathan Gines was in the box for a hitting-from-behind penalty.
- AMC iced the game with an empty-net opportunity at 17:28 of the third, when Barrow scored his 14th of the season on an even-strength tally, assisted by Adam Redding, to make it 3-1.
