Men’s Soccer Sweeps First MASCAC Weekly Awards

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State freshman Kaio Santos Da Silva has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Player & Rookie of the Week and junior goalkeeper Joseph Sturzo has been named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 3rd.

Santos Da Silva scored two goals, including the game-winner in the Rams' season-opening 3-0 win over UMass Dartmouth. 

Sturzo stopped 11 shots to earn the shutout in the Rams' 3-0 season-opening win over UMass Dartmouth.
