Bridgewater, Mass. – The Framingham State men's soccer team saw their season come to a close, falling to Bridgewater State 5-0 at Mazzaferro Field Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Bridgewater State opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a goal from Tyler Chang, assisted by Filippo Mucci.
- The Bears extended their lead with two more goals in the first half, both scored by Cameron Walty, with assists from Gavin Norton, Filippo Mucci, and Hector Bucio.
- In the second half, Bridgewater State added two more goals. Melvin Alves scored in the 83rd minute, assisted by Ethan Mallett and Filippo Mucci, and Ryan Moitoso closed out the scoring in the 89th minute with an assist from Brady McDonald and James Billiter.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Framingham State managed six shots, with three on goal. Ayoub Essaoui, Thiago Magalhaes, and Yuji DaSilva each recorded a shot on goal.
- Bridgewater State dominated with 35 shots, 14 of which were on target.
