Moran and Lynch Earn MASCAC Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Junior pitcher Ally Moran (Wilmington, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week and freshman outfield Angelina Lynch has been named the MASCAC Softball Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 2nd.     

Moran earns her second pitcher of the week honor after going 3-0 on the week with a 0-64 ERA. Moran gave up just four hits on the week with one earned run surrendered and 12 strikeouts. Moran earned both victories in a doubleheader sweep of Mass. Maritime. 

Lynch earns her first rookie of the week honor after batting .833 with two homeruns, two doubles, two triples five runs scored and eight RBI in a 4-0 week for the Rams. She went 5-for-5 with two homers and four RBI in sweep of Lesley.
