Desrochers and Moran Earn NFCA All-Region Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Junior pitcher Ally Moran (Wilmington, Mass.) and graduate student Camille Desrochers have been named to the 2023 National Fast Pitch Coaches Association All-Region Teams.  

Moran, a three-time All-MASCAC selection, earned second team All-Region honors for the first time in her career. Moran was named tournament MVP of the 2023 MASCAC Tournament. Moran led the MASCAC in wins and ERA this after going 22-6 in the circle with a 1.37 ERA. Moran made 30 appearances with 17 complete games and 105 strikeouts in 148.1 innings of work. 

Desrochers, a five-time All-MASCAC selection, also earned her first All-Region selection being chosen for the third team. Desrochers batted .399 this season with 57 hits including 11 doubles, a triple, a home run and 35 RBI. Desrochers stole seven bases on the season and walked 20 times. 

The 2023 Rams won the MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Titles and made an appearance in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The Rams finished the season 33-13 overall and 13-1 in league play.
