Six Rams Honored with All-MASCAC Softball Honors

Framingham, MA – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Tournament Champion Framingham State University softball team saw six players recognized with All-MASCAC honors in voting conducted by the league's coaches. 

Senior first baseman Kelsey McGuill (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and senior outfielder Gwendolyn Carpenter (Ashley Falls, Mass.) have been selected to the All-MASCAC First Team. 

Junior second baseman Shelby Roode (Ashaway, R.I.), junior shortstop Brooke Grassia (Danvers, Mass.) and senior pitchers Ally Moran (Wilmington, Mass.) and Caroline Hughes (Canton, Mass.) have been selected to the All-MASCAC Second Team. 

The 2024 Rams finished the season 24-18 overall and 11-3 in league play. The Rams won their third straight MASCAC Tournament Title after defeating top seed Westfield State twice in the championship round this past weekend. The Rams will be facing Husson this coming weekend in an opening round game of the 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament.
