Grassia and Etemad-Gilbertson Earn NFCA All-Region Honors
Framingham, MA – Senior infielder Brooke Grassia (Danvers, Mass.) and first year outfielder Ellie Etemad- Gilbertson have been named to the 2025 National Fast Pitch Coaches Association All-Regions Teams as announced by the NFCA this week.
Grassia, who was named to the All-MASCAC squad for the fourth time in her career, earns a spot on the region's third team after an outstanding senior season with the Rams. Grassia posted a .441 batting average with a conference-best .528 on base-percentage and scored 49 runs in the leadoff spot for the Rams. Grassia collected 60 hits this season and finishes her career in 4thplace on the Rams' all-time hits list with 190 behind Dayna Marchant (221), Camille Desrochers (203) & Gwendolyn Carpenter (197).
Etemad-Gilbertson earned first-team honors at the DP/utility (non-pitcher) position for Region II after an outstanding freshman season. Etemad-Gilbertson hit .441 with two doubles, three triples, 18 RBI and scored 27 runs while stealing 15 bases without being caught in her first season with the Rams. She also earned All-MASCAC honors after posting a .511 batting average in conference play this season.
The Rams finished their season with a 27-15 record and 10-4 record in MASCAC play, appearing in the MASCAC Title Game for the eighth consecutive season.
