Rackliffe Named D3hoops.com Northeast Rookie of the Year

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman forward Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) continues to accrue honors as she was named the D3hoops.com Northeast Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year in voting conducted by SID's in the region.

Rackliffe, who missed ten games during the first semester after suffering an injury at the conclusion of the volleyball season, was previously named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year.  Rackliffe garnered MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors six times during the season and averaged just shy of a double double during her rookie campaign averaging 13.4 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in 19 games.
