Haidul Named MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

Framingham Mass – Framingham State junior forward Katty Haidul has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 19th.   

Haidul earns her third MASCAC Player of the Week honors after she averaged 23.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She scored 22 points with 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a 91-62 win at Salem State. Scored 25 on 10-of-11 from the field (90.9 percent) with eight boards and two rejections in a 75-54 win over Worcester State. 

The Rams earned the #2 seed in this week's MASCAC Tournament and will host the winner of #3 Westfield State & #6 MCLA in the semifinal on Thursday at 7pm.
