O'Connor Grabs MASCAC Player of the Week Honors

Framingham Mass – Framingham State senior forward Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 10th.   

O'Connor averaged 20.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals while shooting 51.4 percent (19-37) from the floor and 92 percent (23-25) from the free throw line in a 3-0 week for the Rams closing the first half of the season at a perfect 10-0. She scored 24 with 14 rebounds, two steals, two assists and a block in a 83-72 win over Rivier. She scored 16 points with six boards, four assists and a block in a 64-61 win over Babson to break a 17 game Beavers winning streak.
