Women’s Basketball Downed by Rivier

Nashua, NH - The Framingham State University women's basketball team rallied to pull within four in the fourth quarter, but the Rams comeback fell short as they were defeated 64-49 by Rivier University this evening in non-conference action at Muldoon Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were paced by 10 points apiece from Abigail Martin and Michelle Moreno.  Martin connected on 5-of-13 from the floor and added six rebounds, three steals and two blocks, while Moreno chipped in with eight boards, two assists and four steals. 

  • Faith Greene finished with eight points and three rebounds, while Katherine Haselton added eight points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals. 

  • Jacqueline Schels finished the game with five points, seven rebounds, an assist and two steals. 

  • The Rams shot just 30% from the floor in the game (20-67) and converted on just 3-of-17 from behind the arc.
