Women's Basketball Downs Rivier in Home Opener
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The Framingham State women's basketball team used a 32-point third quarter to roll past the visiting Rivier Raiders 82-53 Wednesday evening at Logan Gymnasium.

- First Quarter: The Rams set the tone early, leading 12-6 by the end of the first quarter. Kiara Cerruti scored the first points with a layup, and the team maintained their lead with strong defensive plays.
- Second Quarter: Framingham State extended their lead to 28-21 by halftime, with Jacqueline Schels contributing significantly with 7 points in the quarter.
- Third Quarter: The Rams dominated the third quarter, outscoring Rivier 32-14. Kiara Cerruti was on fire, scoring 11 points, including a key three-pointer that energized the crowd.
- Fourth Quarter: Framingham State continued their dominance, closing out the game with a 22-18 advantage in the final quarter. Shaelagh Green and Bridget Trainor added key points off the bench.
