Cerruti and Anderson Earn MASCAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass. - Senior guard Kiara Cerruti (Canton, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week and freshman guard Zaria Anderson (New Bedford, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 7th.  

Cerruti averaged 26 points and 3.5 rebounds in two games last week. Cerruti tallied 30 points with four rebounds in the Rams last second loss to Conn. College. Cerruti tallied the go ahead score for the Rams with just under four seconds left before the Camels won the game at the buzzer. Cerruti closed the week with 22 points and three rebounds in a loss to Emerson. 

Anderson averaged 10.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in two games last week. She tallied 12 points with three rebounds in the loss to Conn. College and added nine points, two rebounds and two assists in loss at Emerson.
