Greene Named MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year – Greene & Schels Earn First Team All-MASCAC Honors
Framingham, MA – Sophomore Faith Greene (Worcester, Mass.) has been selected the 2025-26 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Year and first team All-MASCAC, while Jacqueline Schels (Hamburg, N.J.) has been selected All-MASCAC first Team.
Greene earns Player of the Year honors after being selected as the MASCAC Rookie of the Year a season ago. This season Greene led the MASCAC, averaging 16.5 points per game. Greene ranked third with 9.3 rebounds per game and fifth in field goal percentage at 45.1. Greene recorded seven double doubles this season, including in MASCAC Tournament Championship game.
Schels earned her first All-MASCAC honor after being named MVP of the MASCAC Women's Basketball Tournament. Schels ranked second in the MASCAC in scoring at 15.9 points just behind Greene. Schels led the lead in three-point shooting percentage as she shot 32.6% from behind the arc and free throw shooting percentage where she shot 88.9% on the year.
The 2025-26 Rams recorded a 17-10 overall record and an 11-3 mark in league action. The Rams earned the second seed in the MASCAC Tournament and defeated top Bridgewater State in the finals to earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament where they will face Scranton on Friday night.
