Women’s Basketball Closes Season with Loss to Scranton in NCAA Tournament

Scranton, PA - The Framingham State University women's basketball team closed the season tonight with a 104-39 loss to the University of Scranton in an opening round game of the 2026 NCAA.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams received nine points and two rebounds from Faith Greene in the game, while Jacqueline Schels added six points, six rebounds and three assists. 

  • Abigail Martin finished the game with six points and five rebounds, while Kelsey Yelle came off the bench to tally six points with four boards. 

  • Scranton shot 51% from the floor in the game including 47% (15 of 32) from behind the arc. 

  • The Rams were making their fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last six years.
