Women’s Ice Hockey Falls 4-1 to Anna Maria

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's ice hockey team was defeated 4-1 by Anna Maria College this evening  in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Loring Arena.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • After a scoreless first period, the Amcats got on the board midway through the second period on a goal from Camryn Beauvais. The Amcats added a power play goal in the final five minutes to lead 2-0 after two. 

  • The Amcats pushed the lead to three eight minutes into the third, but the Rams got on the board on an unassisted tally from Adrianna Rizzotto with just under ten minutes to play in the game. 

  • Anna Maria added a final goal from Suri Roberts with just over five minutes remaining to reach the final margin. 

  • Anna Maria outshot the Rams 44-21, but the Rams held a 37-27 edge in faceoffs won. 

  • Lila Chamoun took the loss in net for the Rams but made 40 saves.
