Worcester, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team was defeated 18-3 this evening in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) match-up this evening.
With the win, the Lancers improve to 7-3 on the year and 2-1 in the conference, while the Rams fall to 2-10 overall and 1-3 in the MASCAC.
The Rams received a pair of goals from junior Nicole L'Heureux (Dracut, Mass.) and a single goal from freshman Marissa Burns (Woburn, Mass.). Freshmen Kristen Hoggins and Katelyn Belcher each picked up assists for the Rams in the contest.
The Lancers received five goals apiece from Kalia Chase and Jackie Connors, while Michelle Tully added two.
Sophomore Alysha Cericola (Waltham, Mass.) made six saves for the Rams and suffered the loss in net.
The Rams are back in action Thursday afternoon when they host Emmanuel College in a non-conference game at 4:30 p.m.
