Women's Lacrosse Earns Third Seed in 2025 MASCAC Tournament

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team has earned the third seed in this week's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament. As the number third seed, the Rams will host sixth seed Fitchburg State on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Maple Street Field. 

The women's lacrosse team finished the regular season 8-8 overall and 4-2 in league play. The Rams finished tied in the standings with Bridgewater State at 4-2, but by virtue of the Rams 10-8 victory over the Bears last week, the Rams earned the third seed and the Bears the fourth seed. The Bears will host fifth seed Salem State on Tuesday in the other opening round game. 

The winner of the two games on Tuesday night will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, May 1st at either top seed Worcester State or second seed Westfield State. The tournament will conclude on Saturday as the two semifinal winners meet at the highest remaining seed. The winner of the finals receives the MASCAC's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.
