Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Plymouth State 14-8

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team was defeated 14-8 by Plymouth State University this evening  in non-conference action at Maple Street Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were paced by two goals and an assist from Kate Pizzardi, while Madeline Bosma scored twice. 

  • Kelley DeBellis added a goal and an assist, while Kylie Thomas finished the game with three ground balls and three caused turnovers.  

  • Isabella DiMare took the loss in net but made ten saves as Plymouth held a 34-20 edge in shots for the game. 

  • Tied at 2-2 midway through the first, the Panthers closed the first with three straight and tallied the only two goals of the second to lead 7-2. 

  • The Panthers opened the third with three straight before a Bosma tally cut the deficit to 10-3. 

  • The Panthers extended the lead to as many as 10 in the fourth before the Rams scored the final four goals of the game to reach the final margin.
