Four Women’s Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Honors

Westfield, Mass- The Framingham State University women's soccer team has placed four student-athletes on the 2014 Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams.

Senior Isabela DeSouza (Framingham, Mass) was named to the first team and three Rams were chosen for second team honors. DeSouza leads the Rams this season with 18 goals and five assists in 18 games as a starter.

Senior Marisa Parent (Revere, Mass) was chosen to the second team. Parent has scored 17 goals and 5 assists in 18 games as a starter. She is also the Rams all-time leading goal scorer with 51 in her career.

Sophomores Angela Pallotta (Sterling, Mass) & Michaela Hyland (East Longmeadow, Mass) were also honored on the second team at the midfield and defensive positions, respectively. Pallotta started in all 18 games for the Rams scoring one goal and registering five assists. Hyland also started every game she found the back of the net three times and assisting on three goals.

The Rams travel to Westfield State on Friday, November 7th for the MASCAC Tournament Semi-Final at 7 p.m.
