Varetimos Selected as MASCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

Westfield, Mass.- Framingham State University senior Brini Varetimos (North Attleboro, Mass.) have been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Player and of the Week for the week ending November 16th. 

Varetimos finished with three goals for six points in a 3-0 week during the 2014 ECAC Div. III New England Women's Soccer Championship. She scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 2-1 overtime win over Eastern Nazarene College in the ECAC Quarterfinal and netted the game winner in the 2-0 semifinal win over Wheaton College.
The Rams captured the 2014 ECAC Div. III New England Women's Soccer Championship over The University of New England in penalty kicks on Sunday afternoon.
