Where did you go to college?

  • UMass Amherst

What was a memorable college experience for you?

  • My college graduation, my final championship track meet, and my personal best 800m time were all in the same day. I owe a lot of my success in college to running. I missed my graduation ceremony, but was surrounded by my supportive teammates, friends, family, and coaches.

Where did you coach/work before Framingham State?

  • Started coaching right after college with youth soccer and tee-ball. Worked at Tully High School in NY, Tewksbury High School, and Elms College before finding my way to Framingham State.

What do you enjoy most about working at Framingham State?

  • The diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community of faculty, staff, and students.

What is your favorite movie?

  • Moneyball

What is your go to game day snack?

  • Definitely Fruit Snacks

What is a something positive that you have experienced or been able to do during the pandemic?

  • Spending more time with family

What is your favorite moment as a member of the FSU Athletic Staff?

  • The small moments at practice when something an athlete has worked on for days/weeks finally 'clicks' for them.

  • Once a Runner

Favorite Quote?

  • We all may have come here in different ships, but we're in the same boat now.

Favorite sports to watch/follow outside of work?

  • NFL, NHL, and Pro-Cycling

Favorite vacation spot?

  • Lake Placid, NY

If you weren't working in athletics, what would you be doing?

  • Park Ranger

What do you enjoy most about Division 3?

  • The emphasis on athletes being well-rounded humans. Not just great athletes.

If you could coach any sport (that you do not already coach) what would it be?

  • Speed Skating. It's pretty much track on ice.

How many years have you been a coach/staff member at Framingham State?

  • 7 years

Do you have any unique pre or post game rituals?

  • Early a.m. run. Makes me less nervous on meet-day.
