Women's Outdoor Track and Field Competes at NCAA Division III New England Meet - Grimaldo Places Seventh in 400M Hurdles
New London, Conn. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team is competing on Friday night and Saturday at the Division III New England Regional Meet hosted by Coast Guard.

Natalie Grimaldo paced the Rams on Saturday at the meet as she placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles. Grimaldo is the first athlete to score at the DIII New England meet for the Rams as she finished with a school record time of 1:07.70.

Alyssa Caputo placed 15th in the discus with her toss of 33.98 meters.

The Rams also had three relays run on Saturday with the 4x800 relay team of Meghan Johnston, Cassandra Toth, Grace Avery and Justinne Quinanola finish with a time of 10:42.43.

The Rams had one athlete competing on Friday at the DIII New England meet. Sophomore Katelyn Buban raced in the 10,000 meters. Buban finished in 14th place with a time of 39:38.78.
