Fitchburg, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team finished fifth at the 2026 MASCAC Track and Field Championships, led by event wins from Jamie Moniz and Kate Buban.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Jamie Moniz took first place in the javelin this morning with her toss of 36.61m. Moniz also took fourth in the triple jump (9.76m) and high jump (1.40m) and seventh in the long jump at 4.65m. 

  • Kate Buban repeated as the MASCAC Champion in the 10,000m run with her time of 39:12.74. 

  • Reagan Laprade had a solid day for the Rams with a third place finish in the pole vault (2.29m), a sixth place finish in the 400m hurdles with her personal best time of 1:14.38 and a sixth place finish in the 100m hurdles at 18.22 seconds. 

  • Sarah Campbell finished fourth in the steeple chase with her personal best time of 13:11.95, while Natalie Grimaldo picked up a fourth place finish in the 400m run at 1:02.37 and a third in the 400m hurdles at 1:11.50.
