Women’s Track and Field Competes at DIII New England Meet

Springfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team had three individual athletes and two relay in action yesterday and today at the 2026 Division III New England Track and Field Championships hosted by Springfield College

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• Jamie Moniz, who was the MASCAC Champion in the javelin, finished 12th in the event at the regional with her toss of 34.51m (113-3.00). 

• Also competing today for the Rams was Kate Buban who ran the 5,000m and also qualified for the 10,000m which she did not run today. Buban finished 11th in the 5k  crossing the line at 18:25.76. 

• Natalie Grimaldo finished in 17th place in the 400m hurdles with her time of 1:07.48.

• The Rams 4x800m relay team of Grace Avery, Meghan Johnston, Justinne Quinanola, and Buban finished 14th with a time of 11:14.25, while the 4x400m relay team of Ellen Child, Reagan Laprade, Grimaldo and Cassandra Toth finished 13th at 4:17.20.
