Brinkman Tabbed as MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outside hitter Kelly Brinkman (Gardiner, NY) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 29^th.           

Brinkman earns her fifth rookie of the week honor this season after averaging 10.5 kills per match with a .255 hitting percentage and two blocks in a 2-1 week for the Rams.  Brinkman recorded 12 kills in a 3-0 victory over Emmanuel College and closed the week with nine kills in a 3-0 win over Westfield State that secured the second seed in the MASCAC Volleyball Tournament.
