Sullivan Selected MASCAC Volleyball Player and Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outside hitter Valerie Sullivan (Buffalo, N.Y.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 19^th.

Sullivan earns her first player and rookie of the week honor after tallying 45 kills, nine digs, six blocks and four assists with a .268 hitting percentage in a 4-0 week for the Rams. Sullivan recorded 13 kills, four digs and four blocks in a hard fought 3-2 MASCAC victory over MCLA.  She finished with 12 kills, two digs, an assist and a solo block in a 3-0 win over Emmanuel and added 12 kills in a three set win over Dean College.
