Volleyball Selected to Finish Third in 2025 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team has been selected to finish third in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the league office this morning.  

The Rams secured the third spot by receiving 47 total points after compiling a 13-16 record in 2024 including a 4-3 mark in league play. Returning for the Rams is reigning MASCAC Player of the Year Natalie Reynolds.  Reynolds led the league in 2024 with 345 kills.  She averaged 3.38 kills per set and had 894 total attacks. She was fifth in hitting percentage at .246 while also collecting 39 total blocks, 72 digs and 14 service aces.  

Westfield State landed in the top spot of the poll with five first place votes and 61 points, while Bridgewater State grabbed the second spot with the remaining four first place votes and 60 points. Behind the Rams in fourth place is MCLA with 43 points and Worcester State in fifth with 38 points. Mass. Maritime claimed the sixth spot with 25 points, while Fitchburg State (23 points), Salem State (18 points) and Anna Maria (9 points) round out the poll. 

The Rams open the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30th at home against Bay Path.
