Men’s Ice Hockey Ties Franklin Pierce; Wins Shootout

Framingham, Mass. - The Franklin Pierce men's ice hockey team scored four third period goals forcing overtime and eventually losing the shootout to Framingham State in non-conference action Tuesday evening at Loring Arena.

1st Period: 

• 05:18 – Framingham State opened the scoring through Jerry Duckett, assisted by Jake Barcelou and Ashton Collazo. 

• 13:14 – Robert Bernier doubled the Rams' lead on the power play, with assists from Scott Bugarin and Johnny Baker. 

2nd Period: 

• 17:07 – Scott Bugarin extended Framingham's lead to 3-0, assisted by Bernier and Johnny Baker. 

3rd Period: 

• 03:29 – Franklin Pierce's Austin Pick scored shorthanded, assisted by John Sterling, starting a comeback. 

• 08:44 – Mario Paganini brought Franklin Pierce within one, assisted by Ryan Dutcher and Isaiah Frankel.
